The Nashville Tea Party was held today at Legislative Plaza. We had a crowd, by two estimations, of around 600. While it was cool and misting rain, the support was warming. Some of the speakers today were: Robin Smith,Tennessee GOP Chairman, Dave Evans, who is running against Bart Gordon in the 6th Congressional district, Nathan Moore, former Chairman of the Davidson County Young Republicans, Ben Cunningham of Tennessee Tax Revolt, and Susan Lynn, State Representative.

Maj. Gen. David Evans, 80th Division, greeted the soldiers and told them to stand proud for their sacrifice and the courage they displayed during deployment. He also commended the support, courage and sacrifice of family members.
